This system does NOT rely on a resuscitation bag and patients can be kept on the system for days to weeks at a time. Parts for the system cost around $500,\u00a0assembled systems will cost close to $1000.  This system is comparable is $12,000-$15,000 ventilation systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Specification<\/strong>s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Three respiratory modes, Continuous Machine Ventilation (CMV), Intermediate Machine Ventilation, (IMV), and Spontaneous Continuous Respiration (SCR)\u00a0<\/li><li>A 4th, non-standard ventilation mode,  for high flow oxygen therapy (HFOT) is also included.  This treatment has recently been developed for COVID-19 patients<\/li><li>Fully tunable<ul><li>Tidal Volume (between 100-900mL)<\/li><li>Inspiration Time (0.3sec-2.0sec)<\/li><li>I\/E Ratio<\/li><li>PEEP (1-20 cmH2O)<\/li><li>Maximal PIP (40-70cmH2O)<\/li><li>FiO2 (20-100%)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Reliable tidal volume delivery that is minimally effected by the health of a patients lungs or the set PEEP value<\/li><li>An LCD screen that displays\u00a0exhaled tidal volume, predictive tidal volume, inspiration low rate, minute volume, PEEP, PIP, and Compliance <\/li><li>Graphical output is possible but requires the attachment of a computer)<\/li><li>12 different alarm conditions<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"> The system runs on one 110V outlet and needs 15PSI of compressed air and\/or oxygen.\u00a0 The manufacturing setup is underway. Regulatory approval is the last hurdle to commercialization.
