Wood <\/strong>is an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at <em>San Diego State University<\/em>.\u00a0 He obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the <em>Colorado School of Mines <\/em>in 2014.\u00a0 Before joining SDSU, Dr. Wood was a researcher at both the <em>National Renewable Energy Laboratory<\/em> in Golden Colorado and the <em>University of Michigan<\/em>, Ann Arbor.\u00a0 His research expertise is in designing\/developing novel systems in the areas of batteries, fuel cells, electrochemistry, corrosion prevention and medical devices.<\/p>\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/interfacedesignlab.sdsu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/CV_20200227_2pageMax.pdf\" class=\"pdfemb-viewer\" style=\"\" data-width=\"max\" data-height=\"max\" data-toolbar=\"bottom\" data-toolbar-fixed=\"off\">CV_20200227_2pageMax<\/a>\n<p class=\"wp-block-pdfemb-pdf-embedder-viewer\"><\/p>\n ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kevin N.
