This course describes the critical scientific aspects needed to understand battery science and technology. While presented from an electrochemical storage prospective, the initial part of this course is relevant not only to battery systems but a wide range of other topics as well. This course is designed to help undergraduate students have the tools necessary to be successful in job interviews related to battery science and technology. For graduate students this course is essential for understanding current battery research and design the next generation of solutions.
